When Sean and I dreamed up this hot sauce, we wanted to create something that was a taste of home. What better way to do that, than with something that we grew up with on so many street corners here in San Diego, as well as in close-by Tijuana: Elote. Mexican street corn is an amazing, yet simple food. We tried to encapsulate all of the things that make it so damn delicious and put that into a bottle. The roasted char, cheesy creamy goodness, and the fresh bite of lime and tajin.
We are so happy with how this one turned out and it's our new go to!
Ingredients: Kombucha Culture, Roasted Corn, Habanero, Lime Juice, Aji Amarillo, Avocado Oil, Agave nectar, Salt, Cumin, Garlic, Nutritional Yeast, cilantro, and our own version of Tajin (Morita Chipotle, Guajillo, Fresno Chili)
A friend brought me the variety pack. Bro! Tried the Cackalcky original and the super hot. The super hot is a big step up! So freaking spicy, bro! I enjoy every second my mouth was burning! But the moment I had the Corn Hub, I was in love! Love the color, love the taste, perfect amount of spice. I had dreams about it. Down to Ferment is bringing out my inner spice king! So excited to try the other hot sauces!!! If I could find it in Washington it would be my new go to hot sauce instead of Cholula!! That’s how good it is!!!Way to go, guys!!!! Keep it up!!!
